What I make
Everything starts with ripe seasonal fruit. What is not eaten fresh becomes jam, liqueur or syrup.

Who is behind it
I live between the Netherlands and Spain, and in my kitchen those two worlds meet. It started with jams and liqueurs for home, made from seasonal fruit that deserved better than going to waste.
These days I sell at local markets and to order. Every jar carries a handwritten date, because there is no factory here: there is a pot, unsprayed fruit and all the time it takes.
I use far less sugar than usual. That way the jam tastes of fruit, not of sugar. Try it and tell me.

Why Casa Maria
I only work with seasonal fruit that has not been sprayed. Whatever the land gives at that moment shapes the taste of each batch.
Sugar supports the fruit, it does not dominate. So the jam tastes of fruit and the liqueur keeps its character.
Every jar and bottle comes out of a pot, not a factory. The handwritten date on the label proves it.
You buy straight from me. Questions, orders and tips: I answer myself, not a customer service desk.

How it is made
The fruit is picked ripe and cooked the same day in small batches. No preservatives, no rush. Then every jar is sealed, labelled by hand and dated.
